Welcome to Tres Twee, a San Francisco based fashion blog by Jen Silveira, an aspiring medical social worker and emo kid at heart who has retired her black Converse and band t-shirts for Oxford heels and plaid dresses. Heavily influenced by my Catholic school girl upbringing and musical predilections, Tres Twee is a retrospective of the twee aesthetic made popular in the 2010s by Tumblr and Zooey Deschanel featuring vintage-inspired librarian looks, scholastic classic, geek chic, and preppy principles for the frugal fashionista.
